- The importance of training was long imbibed during my Air Force days. The briefing podium in my first fighter squadron had the motto “YOU FLY LIKE YOU TRAIN.” This left an indelible impression on me as I grew up in the Air Force. I have seen it happen live. Well-structured training programs with the right faculty and advanced training methods produce outstanding results.
- I have more than three decades of experience in aviation. I never came second in any professional course in the Air Force. I was adjudged the Best in Ground Subjects, Best in Flying, Best in Aerobatics and the Best Overall Student in the Qualified Flying Instructor’s Course in Flying Instructor’s School in Indian Air Force. I became a Cat A Instructor in my first attempt. Not many are able to do so. Many fail after repeated attempts. I was one of the youngest Air Force Examiner at merely 13 years of service.
- I won the Sword of Honour as a Test Pilot during the course. It is one of the toughest professional courses in the world. I have done Flight Testing on prototype aircraft. So what you will read in text books about principles of flight and aerodynamics has actually been tested by me in the air. So when I teach you about flying, it will not merely be based on text books, but based on real life experiences.
- I appeared for the Staff College Exam in the Air Force and after topping the same, was sent to the US Air Command and Staff College for an year. After coming back, I commanded a fighter squadron. It was judged as the Best Fighter Squadron in the entire Air Force.
- Yet, when I left the Air Force to join the Civil Aviation, it was time to strap on the flying boots all over again. It has been a heady journey so far. I have flown over 2500 h in the last four years on the A320 aircraft. I now have over 6000 h of flying experience in over 25 different type of aeroplanes.
- The common thread in these achievements is my personal trait of giving my best in everything I do. I not only did my work professionally, I also knew how to ace exams. Over the years, I have imparted this knowledge to friends, subordinates and their children.
- It is time you gain from my teaching techniques, exam preparation methods, and most importantly, knowledge of aviation, if you wish to start a career in the this fast growing industry.
- I would like to personally welcome each and every student to Narain Aviation. I am sure that choosing us as your training partner will be the best decision you’ll ever make, and we will ensure that your journey is a highly rewarding and enjoyable experience.
